Fourteen by twelve is the Arcadia you buy when the ten-foot table is non-negotiable. It’s also the size Backyard Discovery labels “gazebo/carport” on their own drawing, and the 8 ft 4 1/2 in eave clears most SUVs, if that’s the plan.

Backyard Discovery’s Arcadia at this size is 100% cedar under a 29-gauge galvanized steel roof, pitched to one side rather than peaked. From their drawing: 14 ft 6 3/4 in wide by 12 ft 1 in deep at the roof, 8 ft 4 1/2 in at the high edge, 7 ft 4 in clear under the tall side and 6 ft 2 3/4 in under the low side; the posts stand 14 ft 1 1/2 in by 11 ft 7 1/4 in apart at the base. In metric, roughly 4.44 m by 3.68 m by 2.55 m. Covered area is about 168 sq ft (15.6 sq m).

Backyard Discovery rates it to 100 mph wind and a snow load of 8,700 lb, around 30 in of snow, when properly anchored. Anchoring is by powder-coated steel plates at each post. Every board turns up cut to length, drilled for its screws and already stained a light brown. One post carries the PowerPort: 3 electrical outlets and 3 USB ports. Hardware and roof are corrosion-resistant steel.

What fits: a ten-seat table with a walkway on one side, or a full L-shaped sectional with a fire table in the middle, which is what Backyard Discovery shows. Two loungers plus a dining set for four is a comfortable split.

Assembly uses the BILT 3D app with step-by-step instructions. Backyard Discovery doesn’t publish crew size, hours or a box count for the 14 x 12; with roof panels this long, plan on three people and a weekend as our estimate, not theirs. Optional extras sold separately: mosquito netting and an aluminum gutter kit.

Delivery is freight. It leaves Camp Verde, Arizona within one business day and typically arrives in 3–7 business days. The carrier calls to book a window; someone has to sign, and the roof panels are long enough that you’ll want a second person to move them. Check every carton against the driver’s list and photograph damage before you sign. Keep the packaging until the build is done: a return inside 90 days needs it.
