Billing Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: August 2026

This page covers the mechanics of paying us: what protects the transaction, which parts of it we can see, and which parts never reach us at all. Whether we accept an order in the first place is a different question, and our Billing Policy answers it.

Section 01

Everything is priced in USD

Every figure shown across the site is U.S. dollars. There is no currency switcher, and no conversion happening quietly behind the scenes.

Section 02

What you can pay with

Cards are processed by Stripe. The wallets settle through their own networks. Either way the money moves without passing through us:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • PayPal
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

Section 03

The encryption on the connection

SSL protects this site from end to end, not only the checkout page. Any form here, whether it takes a payment or a login or a message to us, travels encrypted between your browser and our servers. Encrypted means the data crossing that gap is scrambled rather than readable, so anyone who intercepted it would come away with nothing worth keeping. That matters most for card details and account credentials, which happen to be the two things we take the least of.

Section 04

PCI-DSS, and what it means in practice

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard is the rulebook every business touching card data has to follow. Its whole purpose is limiting the chance that card information gets exposed or misused.

We meet it the sensible way: by not handling raw card data ourselves. Stripe and PayPal are our payment partners, both PCI-DSS compliant, and the card transaction happens inside their systems rather than ours. Every payment on this site runs through a compliant gateway.

Section 05

What we can see after you order

A short list, and it is genuinely short. Every item on it is there so we can fulfil the order and answer a question about it months later, which is the only reason we hold any of it:

  • Your order, meaning what you bought and what it cost
  • The billing address and the shipping address attached to it
  • The final four digits of the card, kept so that an order can be matched to a payment

Section 06

What we never see

  • The full card number
  • The expiration date
  • The security code on the back

None of those three are collected by us, viewed by us or stored by us. They go directly to the payment partner and stay there. If somebody demanded your card number from us tomorrow, we could not produce it, because it was never on our systems to begin with. That is the point of the arrangement.

Section 07

How this connects to privacy

Billing data is personal data and gets treated that way. We do not sell it, rent it out, or hand it to anyone for marketing. Our Privacy Policy sets out the full picture of what we collect and how long it stays.
