Laurel Canyon 10 x 10 ft. Khaki Double-Tier Soft Top Steel Gazebo with Corner Shelves and Zip Netting

The corner shelves are the tell. Most soft-top gazebos give you four bare legs; this one builds a triangular shelf into each corner, so the citronella candle, the speaker and the drinks have somewhere to sit that isn’t the table.

Laurel Canyon’s 10 Ft. Khaki Soft Top Steel Gazebo is a 10 ft by 10 ft (3.05 m by 3.05 m) screened shelter, about 100 sq ft (9.3 sq m) under the roof, standing 9 ft (2.74 m) at the peak. Their drawing shows 6.5 ft to the eave and 8.9 ft between the legs. The frame is heavy-duty steel in a triangular column pattern, powder-coated black against rust, chipping and peeling, and the whole kit weighs about 87.5 lb (39.7 kg). 8 ground stakes come in the box.

The roof is a double-tier soft top: the vent between the layers lets heat out and gives wind a way through. Laurel Canyon rates the khaki fabric UV-resistant, fade-resistant, water-repellent and flame-resistant. Under the peak there’s a ceiling hook good for 60 lb, which covers a light fixture or a heavy hanging planter. Zippered netting hangs on all four sides, flame-resistant and see-through, with straps and elastic ties to hold it back at the corners when it’s open.

What fits: a two-seat sofa, two armchairs and a coffee table, as in Laurel Canyon’s photo, or a round table for four. A six-seater is tight once the netting is closed.

Look the carton over before signing and keep it until the gazebo is up: a return within 90 days needs the original packaging.
