Three feet deep is the whole idea. The Bayside is a lean-to that lives against a wall, a garage or a fence and takes up the strip of ground nothing else uses. Rakes, the hose reel, two bikes stood on end, the kids’ ride-ons: in, door shut, yard clear.

Cedarshed’s Bayside, in this size, runs 6 ft wide by 3 ft deep (1.83 m by 0.91 m), 18 sq ft (1.7 sq m) of floor. It’s 100% Western Red Cedar, which resists rot, insects and moisture on its own without a treatment. The walls come as pre-built panels and the roof as pre-shingled cedar panels, so there’s no cutting in the build. The door is a cedar Dutch door, split so the top half opens on its own. Beside it sits a fixed acrylic window with a planter box under the sill. Underfoot there’s a real floor: 5/8 in plywood on cedar joists. All hardware and the instructions are in the kit.

Cedarshed doesn’t publish the height, the door width, the packed weight, a box count, or a crew and time figure for the Bayside, and we haven’t estimated them for you beyond this: pre-built panels make it a two-person job, and that’s our expectation, not theirs. Options Cedarshed lists for the range (windows that open, a sliding door, a pair of doors) are separate orders, not part of this kit. The listing carries no manufacturer warranty statement.

Delivery is freight from Camp Verde, Arizona: out within one business day, 3–7 business days in transit, and the carrier phones ahead to book a window. Wall panels are awkward rather than heavy, so have a second person. Count the cartons, photograph any damage before signing, and keep the packaging until it’s built: a return within 90 days needs it.
