A pergola gives you shade in stripes, not a roof, and that’s what a lot of patios want: the sun broken up over lunch, the sky still there at night. The Beaumont 10 x 10 is the smallest of Backyard Discovery’s cedar Beaumont range and the one that fits a standard four-post concrete pad.

Backyard Discovery’s Beaumont 10 x 10 ft. Cedar Wood Pergola with PowerPort covers 10 ft by 10 ft (3.05 m by 3.05 m), about 100 sq ft (9.3 sq m) under a multi-level trellis roof: rafters one way, purlins the other, so the shade pattern is a grid rather than bars. Everything is 100% cedar, pre-cut, pre-drilled and pre-stained, joined with heavy-duty galvanized steel hardware. Decorative post covers finish the bases. Backyard Discovery rates it for winds to 100 mph when properly anchored. A PowerPort in one post carries 3 electrical outlets and 3 USB ports.

Backyard Discovery doesn’t publish the post dimensions, the height, the packed weight or a snow figure for this size, and we haven’t borrowed numbers from the larger Beaumonts.

What fits: a table for six with chairs pushed in, or a two-seat sofa, two chairs and a coffee table. Vines and string lights are what the trellis is for.

Assembly runs off the BILT 3D app. Crew size and hours aren’t published; a cedar pergola this size is realistically two people and a day, and that’s our estimate, not theirs.

Delivery is freight from Camp Verde, Arizona: out within one business day, typically 3–7 business days in transit, with the carrier phoning to book a window. Have a second person for the long cedar bundles, count cartons against the driver’s paperwork, photograph any damage before signing, and keep the packaging until it’s built. A return inside 90 days needs it.
